Gateway Anti Virus is enabled for scanning and detecting infection and spam in the mail traffic (SMTP, POP3, and IMAP) as well as web (HTTP) traffic that passes through Firewall.

It guards users against infected messages, and delivers only the clean or disinfected messages, along with information on scanning results for every message. Additional filtration of messages from configured IP address and URL decreases the load on the server when scanning email traffic for viruses.

McAfee Pilot Protection is installed on all servers and desktops/laptops for virus protection. Updates to the antivirus application and virus definitions are automated and pushed to the servers and desktops/laptops.

Gateway Anti Spam provides real time virus scanning that protect all network nodes - workstations, files servers, mail system from known and unknown attacks by worms and viruses, Trojans, spyware, adware, spam, hackers and all other cyber threats.
